Custom made window frame with servery shelf.
This Northern Beaches customer had a new servery window installed at their Warriewood townhouse. Initially, they were going to add a large servery / breakfast bar below the window, however, once the window was installed, they changed their mind thinking the servery would have taken up too much area of the small patio. They contacted Peter to custom design and install a smaller servery shelf.
The customer contacted Peter, asking him to install a new frame around the window (the window installer / builder didn’t include this in his quote) and a slimline shelf at the bottom.
Peter custom built a new window frame which hid the exposed and uneven brickwork edges. The new window frame was multi-purpose as he will be able to attach a retractable flyscreen (this has been ordered and not yet installed).
Best of all, the smaller shelf means the outdoor seating can be pushed right up to the wall without looking space, making best use of the small patio area for entertaining and dining.
